Light sensitivity

Light sensitivity applies only while all of these are true at once: you are above ground, you are not indoors, it is daytime, the weather is clear, and you are not under a Darkness effect.

While it applies you take -2 to attack and -2 to all saving throws, and every two rounds you make a Fortitude save against DC 20; on a failure you are blinded for one round.

That difficulty is fixed at 20 and does not grow with you. At low level it is a reason to stay out of the daylight; from around level 20, with the saving throws and equipment of a character that far in, it is passed routinely.

Race group

Stone Giant belongs to the Giant race group. Anything that names that group - a spell, a feat, a favoured enemy, an item property - applies to you.
