This is not the Roblox game. A Dawn of Heroes is a server for Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, the 2002 BioWare RPG.

The server is in active development — think of it as early access. It blends action-focused gameplay with casual roleplay: you are never obliged to stay in character, and just as welcome to if you want to.

Explore new zones, take on one of hundreds of quests, and pick which of the five factions you align with. Alignment is something you change by doing, not by declaring: special tasks, particular deeds, or an in-game currency you earn along the way.

Inspired by the classic Nordock module from 2002, it adds modernised systems, better performance, quality-of-life work, an entirely fresh crafting framework and scaling instanced dungeons built to push a party.

Getting started

    Get the game

    The server is free; the game is not. It turns away clients older than build 8193.37.17 — Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS all work.

    Make your first hero

    Your race decides your faction and where you wake up. A surface race puts you in Benzor, which is where the early quests are, and a caster has the gentlest opening.

    You start at level 3

    With gold, a bedroll and food. Take the free gear from the Newbies store in the Gateway, and put your spares in the vault — it follows your account, not your character.
