This is not the Roblox game. A Dawn of Heroes is a server for Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, the 2002 BioWare RPG.

The server is in active development, think of it as early access. It blends action-focused gameplay with casual roleplay: you are never obliged to stay in character, and just as welcome to if you want to.

Explore new zones, take on one of hundreds of quests, and pick which of the five factions you align with. Alignment is something you can change by doing special tasks, particular deeds, or via an in-game currency you earn along the way.

Inspired by the classic Nordock module from 2002, it adds modernised systems, better performance, quality-of-life work, an entirely fresh crafting framework and scaling instanced dungeons built to push a party.

Getting started

    Get the game

    This game server is free to play, but you will need the base game license. Make sure your game is up to date, or your login will be refused.

    Make your first hero

    Your race decides your faction and where you spawn. A surface race puts you in Benzor, which is where it's easier to get starter. A caster/summoner build has the gentlest opening.

    You start at level 3

    To make sure you'll survive long enough, you begin your journey at level 3. Take the free gear from the Newbies store in the Gateway (or on your Player Menu), and put your spares in your persistent vault, which is shared across all your characters.
