Tokens
The currencies that are not gold. There are four, and all four belong to the account, not to the character: every character you play on the same key draws on the same balance, and a token earned by one is spendable by another.
| Token | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Epic | scrapping equipment, and refunds - see below |
| Skin | appearances |
| Donation | supporting the server, redeemed with a code |
| Roleplay | awarded by the staff |
Epic tokens
Scrapping is what earns them, at the scrap forges in Castle Glendario. You can drop several items in at once, and what comes back depends on what they were:
| What you scrap | Tokens |
|---|---|
| A Nordock weapon or gloves | 50 |
| A Nordock wearable | 30 |
| A socketable weapon or gloves | 70 |
| A socketable wearable | 100 |
| A purple legendary weapon or gloves | 500 |
| A purple legendary wearable | 750 |
| A socket gem | a tenth of what the gem shop charges for it |
A vengeful piece is worth half again on the Nordock and socketable rows.
Anything else is left alone, and a scrapped item cannot be recovered - the forge gives no second chance.
Two refunds also pay in them, and both happen when a character is deleted:
- Experience above what level 40 needs, 780,000, is not stored - it is converted, at a fixed number of XP per token plus one.
- A premium subrace you had bought is refunded in full.
They are spent on premium subraces, on the Vengeful upgrade for an item, on skipping ahead in the main quest, and on the Guardian's paid ways out of the Fugue - see Resurrection. They can also be handed to another player.
Skin, Donation and Roleplay tokens
Skin tokens buy appearances, and the shop shows in green or red whether you can afford the one you are looking at.
Donation tokens come with supporting the server: a code arrives with the monthly drop and is redeemed in game.
Roleplay tokens are given out by the staff.
