Stores

Merchants that remember

Some merchants keep a persistent stock: what they hold is saved and is still there after a server restart, which also means that what you sell to one stays on the shelf for whoever comes next. Other merchants are ordinary, and start again from their template at every reboot.

Merchants that deal in stackable goods restock a little at a time rather than refilling at once.

Prices

Your Appraise skill is checked when a store opens, and moves the prices you are offered in both directions.

A merchant of your own

Three can be called up from the Player Menu where you stand:

  • The player merchant, a quick place to sell. Its stock is shared with everyone, and its prices are poor - the trade post is where you get a fair one. It stays for two minutes.
  • The newbie merchant, up to level 3.
  • Your faction's temple merchant, if you have bought that from the donors store.

The shops that are not ordinary shops

  • The Trade Hall in Mulrok Village, for crafted goods.
  • The skins shop, and the portal to Castle Glendario for the token economy.
  • The donation shop and the donors store, which take donation tokens. The donors store opens from anywhere: Player Menu -> Donor Tools -> Open Donors In-game Store. Almost everything in it can also be had in game, through quests, dungeons or the Black Market. A different set of it is discounted each month.
  • The Black Market, a hidden store selling items, services, mounts, pets and trinkets for gold and tokens. You do not get in without an invitation, and part of its stock changes every quarter.

The Black Market

A hidden store, and you do not get in without an invitation. What it sells for gold and tokens is what no ordinary merchant carries: unique items, services, mounts, pets and trinkets.

Its stock moves. Some of it turns over every quarter, some of it stays for the year, and the prices are not fixed either - what you saw last season is not a promise.
