Weird
A horrible phantasm rises to stand before enemy creatures in the area of effect, causing them to make a Will save against Fear (Immunity to mind spells is ignored, only immunity against Fear works). If they fail, the phantasm touches them and they must now make a Fortitude saving throw against spells (Immunity to Death Magic is ignored). If this saving throw fails, the creature dies. Those who succeed the Fortitude save still take 10d6 points of damage and get feared for 1 round. Creatures with less than 4 HD automatically die, without any saving throws. Blind creatures, or creatures with True Seeing (able to see through the illusion), are unaffected by this spell.

How it works
- A creature that is blind, or under true seeing, is untouched by it - the phantasm has to be seen to work, and cannot be seen through.
- A creature that survives the second save takes 10 six-sided dice of magic damage and is frightened for 6 seconds.
Where it comes from
Cleric domain: Death (level 9).
