How it works

  • The sleep lasts 3 rounds, and Extend makes it 6.
  • Creatures of 9 or more hit dice are never touched by it, not 5.
  • Maximize makes the pool of hit dice 4 + your caster level instead of rolling; Empower adds half again.
  • A Will save against mind-affecting magic avoids it, and anything immune to sleep ignores it.
