Vampiric Touch
The target creature takes 1d6 points of pure damage for every 2 caster levels. The caster is then healed for the amount of damage dealt.

How it works
- The caster has to land a melee touch attack, and spell resistance can stop it.
- Undead and constructs cannot be drained by it.
- The amount is capped twice over: never more than the target's current hit points plus 10, and never more than the wounds the caster actually has to heal.
