Undeath to Death
This spell damages 1d4 HD worth of undead creatures per caster level, dealing half of the target's current hp as pure damage. Creatures with the fewest HD are affected first; among creatures with equal HD, those closest to the point of origin of the burst are affected first.

How it works
- Maximize sets the pool to four hit dice per caster level instead of rolling; Empower adds half of what was rolled.
- A creature it has already struck cannot be struck again for a second, so the pool spreads rather than falling twice on the same target.
Where it comes from
Cleric domain: Sun (level 5).
