Divine Shield
The character may spend one of his turn undead attempts to add his Charisma modifier to his dodge armor class for a number of rounds equal to the Charisma modifier * 2. If the character has the feat "Divine Shield of Steel", then Shield AC is added instead.
| Type of feat | General |
| Use | Selected. |
| Prerequisites | Strength 13, Charisma 13, Power Attack, Turn Undead |
| Target | Yourself |
| Improved by | Arcane Shield |
| Ability used | Divine Shield |
| Duration | 2 rounds (12 seconds) per point of Charisma modifier. Gear with Extend Spell Duration adds to it. |
How it works
- You get Armor Class equal to your Charisma modifier, as a dodge bonus.
- With Divine Shield of Steel and no shield in your off hand, it is a shield bonus instead. This only works while you wear armor, not cloth.
- It uses 1 Turn Undead use. It does nothing without the Turn Undead feat, or with a Charisma modifier of 0 or less.
- It cannot be dispelled.
Who gets it
A class may choose it: Blackguard, Cleric, Paladin.
Required for
Feats: Divine Shield of Steel.
