Acid Fog

Acid Fog creates a thick, clinging, greenish cloud. When creature enters or spends 1 round in this cloud it receives 1d6 per 4 caster levels (minimum 2d6) + (caster level / 4) points of acid damage (maximum 10d6 + 10). Passing a Fortitude saving throw halves the damage taken. Also, when entering acid fog, the creature must make a Fortitude saving throw or get it's movemnet speed reduced by 50% until it exits the cloud.

How it works

  • The area lasts one round per two caster levels. Extend doubles that, and Empower adds half again.
  • There is no minimum of 2d6: below caster level 8 the acid is a single die.
  • A creature standing in it is struck once a round; walking back in during the same round does nothing.

Where it comes from

Cleric domain: Magic (level 6).
