Armory

The armory is the public face of the server's own data: a page per account, a page per character, a page per creature, and the boards built out of them. It lives on the website, at /armory/<account>.

What is on it

  • The character sheet - race, alignment, classes, statistics, skills, feats and the equipment the character was wearing when it was last saved.
  • What that character has done - dungeon runs and clears, and the creatures it has killed.
  • The bestiary, at /armory/bestiary: every creature the server has recorded a kill on, with who has killed it and how often. Each creature has a page of its own.

How a kill is counted

A creature's death is credited to everyone in the party who was there, not only to whoever struck last. A character is credited when all of these hold:

  • it is in the killer's party
  • it is in the same area as the creature, and within 50 metres of it
  • it is not a dungeon master

Being dead does not disqualify you. A character killed by the thing the party then kills is still credited with it.

The killing blow itself is recorded separately, and only for an ordinary player character - a dungeon master, and a player possessing a familiar, do not take it.

Two deaths are recorded for nobody: a creature killed in the arena, and one the server has already cleaned up.

How current it is

It is published from the live server once a day, at the reboot, from what the game had saved by then. It is a snapshot, not a live view: what you are wearing right now is not on it until your character has been saved and the next publication has run.

Privacy

An account can be set private, from the Player Menu in game. That covers the character sheet - race, alignment, classes, statistics, skills, feats, equipment and the last-played date.

It does not cover the activity: dungeon runs, creature kills and the dungeon bars stay visible, because the leaderboards and creature pages they feed are public for everybody.
