Imprisonment

You attempt to block a hostile creature inside of a magical prison. If the creature fails a Will Saving Throw against Chaos, the creature gets paralyzed and imprisoned for the duration of the spell. If the creature is immune to Paralysis, it will be rooted instead. Additionally, for the duration of the spell, target creature receives 1d10 + Warlock levels + Charisma modifier Pure damage each round. This spell has a natural boost to its DC of +3.

How it works

  • The hold lasts 18 seconds however high your level, and the save is Will against chaos.
  • A target immune to paralysis or to mind-affecting magic is rooted in place instead.
  • The hand keeps striking for 2 rounds plus one per ten caster levels, and Extend doubles that.
  • Each blow does 1d10 plus your Charisma modifier plus your caster level, as damage nothing reduces, and there is no saving throw against it.
