How it works

  • The song is worked out on the better of your Bard and Skald levels, and on your Perform rank - both have to reach a band before it improves.
  • The bands are Perform 3 at level 1, then 6/3, 9/6, 12/9, 15/12, 18/15, 24/20, 60/26 and 90/30. At the top it gives allies +3 attack, +4 damage, +3 to every save, 50 temporary hit points, +5 Armour Class and +10 to all skills, for 10 rounds.
  • The singer gets half again of every line of it, and magical damage where the party gets physical.
  • A pure Bard or Skald at level 40 with 109 Perform gets a set of its own instead: +6 attack, +15 damage, +8 Will, +6 Fortitude and Reflex, 80 temporary hit points, +8 Armour Class, +18 to all skills and 4 hit points of regeneration.
  • Lasting Inspiration multiplies the duration by ten; Lingering Song adds five rounds.
  • It cannot be dispelled, and a creature that cannot hear gets nothing.

Where it comes from

No class learns this from a spellbook: it is the ability a feat uses, and what it does is on the feat's page.

Cast by a feat: Bard Song.
