The Scrap Forge
The scrap forges stand in Castle Glendario, the epic zone. Gear put in a forge is destroyed in exchange for Epic Tokens.
- You can load several items at once.
- The forge shows a recap of what it would pay for each item, with the total, before it melts anything.
- Nothing it scraps can be recovered.
What it pays
Payment is by item tier only. Weapons and armour are paid at the same rate.

A vengeful or masterful item counts as one tier higher than the same item without it, and is paid at that tier. It gets no other bonus.
Socketable gems are the one exception to tier pricing: a gem is tier 1, and the forge pays 10% of what the gem shop sells it for.
What it refuses
- Anything crafted through GTS. Those goods are traded through the Trade Hall.
- Anything that is not equipment - gems aside.
- An item that still has gems in it. The forge pays nothing for it until the gems are removed.
- A part-used stack of ammunition. Arrows, bolts and bullets must come as a full stack of 99, thrown weapons as a full stack of 50.
- Tier 1 gear.
