Kiho Ouchi

Kiho hails from a small, secluded village nestled within the mountains of a strange, Far-Eastern land. Her family were renowned swordsmiths, serving a local feudal lord. She was cherished as a first child, but even young she understood that her father wanted a male heir. As the years went on, she dedicated herself to the blade at any cost. The oldest of three sisters, she trained tirelessly from a young age copying the warriors of the village, eventually being able to defeat them. A devastating blow to her self-esteem was dealt when even after defeating the village's best swordfighter in honorable combat, her father still did not accept her truly as heir. Swearing to never look back, she left her homeland and sought a new life travelling far away, to unknown western lands.

Reserved, disciplined, and focused. Kiho speaks little, preferring to observe and assess situations before acting. She is fiercely loyal to those she deems worthy, but slow to trust. She carries a quiet sadness beneath her stoic exterior.
