Once a gladiator. Then, he found he could improve his strength by channeling the fragile remains of souls that were left by his defeated opponents. It became addictive.

Unlike true necromancers who tend to delve into the deep arcane power this gladiator could only manifest a fraction of the power of undeath. Yet, it is effective enough to fuel his contract killing and selfish misuse.
