Does murder make you an evil person? What if you murdered a tyrant who was cruel? What if you stole from other's, does that make one evil? What if you stole to save your family from starvation? How about this, rape? Rape is bad yes? But what if you raped a woman because her husband murdered your own wife, and you did so out of vengence?
The answer is yes, you are evil, regardless of what is in your heart of hearts. At least that is what others will say. But wait, others can be absolved of sin if they repent to the gods right? Why? Does this make sense to you? Why not just kill then go to church and confess your sins, ask for forgiveness? Are actions more important or intent?
Well I am Solomon Ash and I have lived all these sins and many more, but I do not feel evil, regardless of how other brand me. As a consequence of my actions, the vampires curse was laid upon me. Maybe it is so I can use time to think upon my sins and refect on how to better the world around me?
